Position Description The Payment Administrator ensures that applicable vendors are paid correctly and in a timely manner. This role is responsible for various vendor payment tasks including payment processing, new vendor set up, vendor maintenance and reporting. Responsibilities * Responsible for payment runs for all Zayo entities globally including the US, Canada, Europe and Latin America. Includes pulling reports, validating the data, sending out for PG and Treasury approvals and submitting payments. * Set up new vendors in Oracle for all Operating Units. * Providing payment remittance to vendors. * Process emergency requests for check, ACH, Visa and W.T. payments, working with Treasury to obtain proper approvals. * Entry and application of manual ACH, W.T. and credit card payments. * Follow up on outstanding payments and other issues with bank rec/treasury department. * Update vendor card information as requested following strict guidelines to ensure the protection and security of our vendors. * Maintain vendor banking data in various EDD systems. * Responsible for 1099 reporting. * Assist in audit requests. * Other duties as needed. Qualifications * High School diploma required * Associates or Bachelor degree preferred * 3-5 years AP experience required * Experience with Oracle and Salesforce systems a plus * Must be proficient in Excel * Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills are required * Strong sense of teamwork is required * Ability to work early mornings, some evenings and weekends especially at month end * Candidates must possess excellent analytical, judgment & decision making skills with the ability to adapt to change. * Ability to manage high volume workload efficiently and effectively * High Energy individual with strong work ethic, self-motivator * Ability to maintain confidentiality * Ability to multi-task Rewards * Competitive compensation * Hourly Rate Range: $19-$21/hour * Excellent benefits including health, dental, vision, 401 (k), disability and life insurance * Fitness membership discounts * Generous paid time off policy including paid parental leave Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time
