Robert Half is working with a company in the financial services industry to find a Fund Accountant. This is a direct hire and full time position! This role is 100% remote but the company does have an office in Boulder, CO, and is paying $75-85k. Additional information and job requirements are below. For a full job description and immediate consideration, please email your resume to Morgan.Racicot(at symbol) roberthalf (dotcom) today!The Mututal Fund Accountant will be responsible for:Maintain general ledgers and sub-ledgers for the various fund and investment entitiesProcess portfolio company financings, M& A transactions, and related valuation events by recording adjustments and journal entries in internal systemsOwn preparation of quarterly financial statements, footnote disclosures, investor allocations, schedules of investments & portfolio summary reportsPrepare portfolio statements for corporate partnersPrepare distribution allocations, investor notices and wires; and confirm wire instructions with investors as neededRecord capital calls and perform follow ups as neededPrepare weekly reconciliation of investment data between investment database and accounting system, and investigate differencesEnsure data hygiene of transactions across all entitiesMonitor and record cash activity; prepare monthly bank reconciliationsAssist with onboarding new investors and responding to investor inquiries, audit confirmations, and escalating items to managers as neededPrepare investment roll forwards and carried interest calculations for various entitiesPrepare year-end audit and tax packages and assist with year-end audit and tax requestsBachelors Degree in AccountingPublic accounting preferredCPA in process or active1+ year in mutual fund accounting REQUIREDRobert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
