Dharma Ocean Foundation is looking for a part-time Administrative Assistant that has the ability to quickly understand and effectively articulate Dharma Ocean's core values in style, tone, and voice in all internal and external communications.

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting Dharma Ocean's mission to expand access to the teachings and practices of our somatic meditation lineage through increasing awareness and visibility of our programs. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Administrative Assistant will also work with our Marketing and Digital Media teams to assist them in their work. The Administrative Assistant is a highly motivated self-starting professional. The candidate should be skilled in administrative tasks, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities

The core duties and responsibilities of an Administrative Assistant revolve around supporting others. Duties can vary widely, not just from project-to-project, but from day-to-day. On any given day, they may perform a variety of tasks, such as:

  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
  • Schedule and coordinate staff and other meetings
  • Collect, collate, and distribute mail
  • Prepare and make physical deposits to bank accounts
  • Prepare communications, such as memos, emails, invoices, reports and other correspondence
  • Write and edit documents from letters to reports and instructional documents
  • Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical
  • Convert existing physical documents to digital format
  • Assist Marketing and Media Managers with research and other tasks
  • Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director

    Requirements

    Requirements
    • Proficient in written and verbal communication skills
    • 3-5 years of related experience as a general Administrative Assistant
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to respond quickly and manage time effectively
    • Able to work flexible work hours including light work on some weekends
    • Bachelor's degree preferred - High School graduate required
    • Must reside in the Boulder Colorado area
    • Be able to work from home or office
    • Be able to start immediately
