Job DescriptionTerracotta, a houseplant shop and cafe in Boulder, Colorado, is looking for a part-time or full-time administrative assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our in-store and online shop. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:Outreach Coordinator

  • Communications - Under the guidance of the General Manager, this role is responsible for answering (or directing) all communications from various channels. This role communicates with all staff, vendors, clients, press, and support staff. You are required to uphold excellent customer service skills at all times.
  • Customer Service: Responsible for all timely and accurate communication responses on all official social media platforms using our brand voice; can act as a personal shopper or brand ambassador to all customers inquiring online.
  • Community Liaison: Build and maintain relations with partners, suppliers, and potential collaborators
  • Partnerships Manager: Spearhead the brand's strategic partnerships (offline and online) with another organization that has values aligned with ours (monthly/quarterly), from ideation, negotiation, execution, and analysis. Will work with Marketing Team so campaigns are aligned with overall marketing strategy.
  • Gathering Leads: From day-to-day activities for relationship building and community management with our customers, this person will engage with clients who are interested in indoor plant design consultations and commercial plant care. This person will closely coordinate with the owner in contracting clients into securing deals, ensuring a smooth transition from lead generation to actual execution--which in turn will be now be led by the owner.Organize and fulfill orders (local and nationwide)Administrative Assistant
    • Enter product and inventory data into Shopify
    • Maintain office supplies
    • Maintain all technology: troubleshoot internet, phone services, software accounts
    • Tracking and recording admin expenses
    • Assist with the implementation of new department initiatives and workflow systems to increase efficiency
    • Assist with processing inventory
    • Intake, tagging, reporting damages, and potentially placing orders
    • Assist with cafe and ordering supplies
    • Assist in special events and gatheringsPOSITION REQUIREMENTS
      • Proactive, hard-working, and punctual
      • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
      • Organized with good time management skills
      • Excellent communication and customer service skills
      • Willingness and ability to learn
      • Proficient computer skills - Must be able to use, or learn how to use Shopify, Slack, Monday, Microsoft excel
      • At least 18 years oldThis is a position with a starting rate of $15-$17.
