Job Summary

B2B Paid Media Specialist

The paid media specialist executes digital media across multiple platforms. The paid media specialist is responsible for day-to-day management of paid campaigns on platforms including Google Ads, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, The Trade Desk and direct site buys. The paid media specialist is responsible for budget management, platform optimizations, regular reporting back to internal marketing stakeholders, and recommendations for performance improvement. The specialist will be part of a global team encompassing employees in both the US and India, sometimes requiring meetings outside of regular business hours.
The paid media team is part of the Digital Marketing Organization at NetApp. The paid media is run mainly in-house by a team of paid media experts with our stakeholders being the greater marketing & sales teams at NetApp. The expectation is that the paid media efforts that we run encompass multiple stages in the buyer journey - awareness, consideration & decision and that we can help stakeholders determine relevant assets, messaging, targeting & platforms to hit specific goals.
Job Responsibilities
--- Launch media across platforms based on KPIs provided by the strategists & marketing stakeholders
--- Optimize media based on pre-specified KPIs including ad copy, audience targets,
--- Build out/follow utm structure when launching new ads
--- Report against spend & performance on a regular basis to key stakeholders
--- Provide recommendations to internal marketers on how to hit specific goals using paid media
--- Upload CRM/ABM lists to platforms for media targeting
--- Measure & execute A/B testing across platforms to improve performance
--- Provide feedback on banners and landing pages as needed from a paid media perspective
--- Write ad copy according to best practices for both paid social & paid search
--- Deliver regular reporting to stakeholders - weekly, monthly & quarterly

Job Requirements

  • Ability to analyze media performance in platforms and make changes to drive improvement at the campaign level
    --- Ability to work independently and on cross-functional teams
    --- Comfortable putting together monthly & quarterly reports for key stakeholders
    --- Ability to function well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines
    --- Ability to read & analyze platform data
    --- Ability to analyze Adobe Analytics data
    --- Ability to manage budgets accurately across platforms, strategies & geos on a quarterly or bi-annual basis
    Experience:
    --- 3+ years working in digital marketing at an agency or on the client-side
    --- Proficient in Google Ads
    --- Proficient in LinkedIn Ads
    --- Proficient in Facebook Business Manager
    --- Proficient in Twitter Ads
    --- Proficient in programmatic display platforms such as The Trade Desk
    --- Strong writing, editing and communication skills

    Education

    IC - Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience.Mgr & Exec - Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
