Job Description:

Our client, a leading managerial consulting firm in the cannabis industry, has a need for a Content Writer in support of their efforts to continuously engage and educate both current clients and those interested in participating in the cannabis industry.Responsibilities

• Create content with a focus on cannabis markets across the US, with a current focus in Y
• Create and implement strategy- graphics, posting, market/client focused content
• Manage multiple websites utilizing HTML (light), WordPress (heavy), Wix, SquareSpace (3)
• Perform basic analytics through google analytics (certification not required)
• Perform client & market research
• Write & edit blog posts, speaker submissions, newsletters, etc.
• Manage social media platforms; twitter, facebook, instagram, linkedin, etc.
• Manage email campaigns and targeted messaging covering 8 states
• Implement methodologies to stay current with cannabis news ensuring that all states are updated
• Create event speaking engagement submissions Skills & Experience
  • Comfortable working in and contributing to the growth of the cannabis industry
  • Demonstrated ability to lead integrated marketing campaigns and take ownership of a project
  • Strong digital marketing experience, with an emphasis on content development
  • Hands-on experience with Google Analytics, WordPress, and Adobe Acrobat/Illustrator
  • Background in design and/or copywriting is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to work autonomously
  • Leadership abilities and project management experience
  • Attention to detail with a creative and analytical mind
