Job Description Job Description Position Overview We are seeking
a skilled and reliable Experienced Maintenance Technician to join
our team on a temporary basis. This role requires expertise in
property maintenance, including residential repairs, equipment
troubleshooting, and compliance with housing regulations such as
Section 8 and Fair Housing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on
experience in maintaining residential properties, strong
problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality service. Key
Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on
residential properties, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and
carpentry tasks. Respond promptly to maintenance requests, ensuring
timely and efficient service for residents and property management.
Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and ensure
properties meet safety and compliance standards. Adhere to all
regulations, including Section 8 and Fair Housing requirements,
during maintenance tasks. Maintain an inventory of tools and
supplies, ordering replacements as needed. Collaborate with
property management teams to prioritize and complete maintenance
tasks. Assist in preparing units for new tenants, including
cleaning, repairs, and inspections. Maintain detailed records of
work performed and materials used. Qualifications High school
diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in HVAC, plumbing,
or electrical work are a plus. 3 years of experience in residential
property maintenance or a related field. Demonstrated expertise in
performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks. In-depth
knowledge of residential leasing, Section 8 regulations, and Fair
Housing compliance. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving
skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Excellent communication and customer service skills. Physical
ability to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting heavy
