Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A full-time Special Education teaching opportunity is
available at a K-12 school in Englewood, CO, focusing on a Resource
Classroom setting. This contract role spans the 20232026 school
years, starting immediately and concluding on May 22, 2026. Key
Role Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction tailored to
students with diverse learning needs in a resource classroom
environment. Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized
Education Programs (IEPs) adhering to state guidelines. Collaborate
actively with educators, therapists, and families as part of the
IEP team to ensure comprehensive support. Utilize evidence-based
instructional strategies and special designed instruction methods
for alternative standards. Maintain accurate documentation and
progress reports on student development. Required Qualifications:
Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Education
license with Generalist Endorsement (5-21) is mandatory.
Professional Teacher License must clearly indicate endorsement in
Special Education Generalist. Applicants with Traveler, Substitute,
Temporary, Interim, or Vocational licenses will not be considered
unless full SPED license with the correct endorsement is already
applied for with verifiable proof. Extensive knowledge of the IEP
process and collaborative team practices. Demonstrated experience
with instructional practices and supporting students on alternative
standards. This position is not open to virtual or hybrid work
arrangements. Location: Englewood, Colorado Work Schedule: Full
time, 40 hours per week. Candidates should be prepared to discuss
detailed experiences related to teaching strategies, special
designed instruction, and teamwork in the special education setting
