Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity is for a full-time Special Education Teacher serving elementary grade levels with a severe needs caseload. The position is based in Englewood, CO, within a contract duration covering the current school year (CSY). Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with significant special needs Collaborate with school staff and families to support student success Monitor and document student progress regularly Provide specialized instruction tailored to individual learning requirements Qualifications and Experience: Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) special education certification is required Experience working with severe needs caseloads at the elementary level preferred Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles Location: Elementary school setting in Englewood, Colorado Additional Information: This is a full-time contract position covering the end of the school year (EOSY) Further details to be provided as they become available If you meet the qualifications and are interested in this rewarding role supporting students with complex needs, submit your resume and relevant certifications promptly to begin the application process.
