NOTE- This application is for ALL applications for an assistant coach with the Summit High School Athletic Department. Please follow with an email to Bob Bodor, Athletic Director at bob.bodor@summit.k12.org to specify which sport you are applying. Under the direction of the athletic director and head coach, and in accordance with District policies, procedures, and CHSAA regulations, the assistant coach shall be responsible for the phases of the program for which they are hired, all responsibilities as assigned by the athletic director, the head coach and his/her players. Roles and Responsibilities Support the head coach and coaching staff. Is a positive role model at all times as well as an exemplary representative of the program, Summit High School, and our community. Supports Athletic Department policies. Follows all guidelines set by Summit HS Athletic Trainer. Complies with rules and regulations as established by Summit School District, the League, and the Colorado High School Activities Association. Is encouraged to attend athletic workshops, clinics and maintain the current knowledge base in the sport. Will maintain CHSAA certification as a coach as well as First Aid and CPR certification. Qualifications: High school diploma preferred Previous coaching experience preferred Stipend Based Pay or Volunteer dependant on head coach's determination
