Blue Canyon Technologies is seeking an experienced Manufacturing
Engineer I to develop and implement manufacturing processes for the
building, testing, and delivery of spacecrafts and spacecraft

Pay Range: $75,000 - $90,000

into applications, processes, and designs as required to meet
manufacturing and test requirements. Analyze statistical data,
evaluate, and implement improvements to meet
- Provide hands-on support for product and process
- Assume ownership for manufacturing build schedules that meet
program schedule milestones.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for manufacturing
non-conforming product, troubleshooting, root cause, failure
investigations and corrective actions.
- Review drawings, assembly instructions, work orders and
engineering change orders for completeness. Implement engineering
changes and incorporate corrective action.
- Aide and assist cognizant engineers in the creation of
mechanical and electrical assembly instructions. Focusing on
standardizing across projects and products while streamlining
workflow of hardware through needed work centers.
- Update designs when necessary, in response to manufacturing
issues, parts obsolescence, and system requirement changes
- Contribute to and / or present technical data in support of
technical exchange meetings, manufacturing / test readiness
reviews, and program status reviews with program managers and
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including
Design engineering functions, Test engineering, Quality assurance,
Supply Chain Management, work centers and outside suppliers.
Maintain excellent rapport with internal / external customers.
- Assist with tooling design and validation
- Own and maintain common parts list that are easily supported by
- Understand and competently use in-house business systems
including Configuration Data Management tools, Manufacturing
Execution System, MRP, manufacturing shop floor control, and
internal status reporting.
- BS or AAS degree in an Engineering field or 0-5 or more years
of related aerospace experience.
- Proficiency with interpreting technical engineering drawings,
bills of material, and technical documents including test and

skills, oral presentation skills and an ability to lead group
discussions with both internal and external customers.
This job operates in a laboratory environment in a manufacturing
company. This role uses standard laboratory and manufacturing
equipment such as computers, electronic test equipment, common
inspection tools and equipment, microscopes, color displays and
associated office equipment.
