Job Description:

immediate opportunity for a talented Release Train Engineer/Scrum
Master to support programs focusing on Image and Digital Signal
Processing, State Estimation, and Classification for exploitation
of data from remote sensing systems (ground-based, airborne and
space-based). The Release Train Engineer/Scrum Master will serve as
an advisor for all aspects of program software work performed. The
RTE shall provide support in mission applications planning and
strategy by focusing on functional applications capabilities and
maturity. The RTE shall understand customer needs, services and
core missions and match them with best-in-class technology to
define the required target state. The RTE shall help to define
prioritization and sequencing of the applications development and
integration by proposing / supporting development of a strategic
roadmap that leads to the target state. The RTE shall
participate/lead key discussions around release train engineering
from both business and technical perspectives. The RTE will support
and advise on all software technical activities across the contract
and work with senior technical leaders on driving continuous
improvement and innovation into overall operations. The RTE will
work with Government leadership and industry partners to help
identify and drive innovative solutions resulting in overall
improved performance and cost reductions. Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate Program Increment planning including
setting objectives for future PIs
- Track all ad-hoc requests from the customer, account for load
modifications, and repriorit as necessary
- Lead Sprint Planning through the development, organization and
prioritization of stories that support the PI
- Lead and facilitate scrum
- Help manage risks and dependencies
- Escalate and track impediments
- Provide input on resourcing to address critical
bottlenecks
- Other duties as assigned Basic Requirements
- Experience with program software delivery/program management
covering all aspect of SDLC.
- Must have a Bachelor degree and 5 plus years of experience or
Masters degree/Ph.D and 3 plus years of experience.
- Must have certification as Scrum Master
- Experience in facilitating and coaching agile principles in
Scrum execution with project leadership and team members
- Experience in Program Increment Planning and decomposition of
work to Story level.
- Experience with Sprint Planning in support of the current
Program Increment.
- Outstanding collaboration skills, prior experience working in a
matrix organization.
- Highly organized and execution focused, accountable and
driven.
- Proven track record of shipping high quality products
on-time
- Ability to gain an active DoD security clearance.
- Must have experience working with tools such as Confluence and
Jira.
- Detail oriented
- Good verbal and written communication skills Desired
Qualifications
- 5+ years large/complex program software delivery/program
management covering all aspect of SDLC
- 5+ years' experience in managing complex software programs and
services as a scrum master, release train engineer, program manager
or similar technical role in a software development
environment.
- Certification as a SAFe Release Train Engineer is desired.
- Experiencing in tracking ad-hoc requirements requests, account
for Scrum Team load modifications and re-prioritization of
tasks.
- Experience in working software development in a Federal
Government/DoD environment.
- Ability to write and verbally communicate detailed technical
information and risk-related concepts effectively to both technical
and non-technical senior leaders and audiences. SciTec offers a

- Flexible work hours The pay range for this position is $103,000
- $150,000 / year. SciTec considers several factors when extending
an offer of employment, including but not limited to the role and
associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience,
