The US office, based in Boulder CO, is hub for one of our most important markets. We are seeking a Project Engineer in our Colorado office. Working as part of a regional team, you will manage engineering and consulting projects, support the technical sales process and use your engineering knowledge to add value to our machine health monitoring services.
Role Description:

• Manage and deliver technical consulting projects related to wind turbine Maintenance Consulting, Reliability Engineering, and Technical Advisory.
• Provide leadership for ONYX product decisions and direction, bringing the perspective of field requirements from regional projects.
• Collaborate with the business development team to develop costings and technical sales proposals
• Industry event attendance and presentation.
• Delivery and management of condition monitoring hardware install projects, remotely and in the field.
• Liaise with clients and internal/external stakeholders to ensure continued pace of activity.
• Develop and deliver customer-facing presentations and project reports.
• Ensure successful delivery of site-based pilot and commercial projects.
• Manage sub-contractors and develop work instructions.
• Undertake predictive maintenance and asset management consulting.
• Participate in product reviews with global hardware and software teams.
  About you:
  
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering required. Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the Wind Industry that demonstrates sound knowledge of wind turbine hardware.
  • Experience in hands on mechanical engineering, such as design, prototyping, testing, or implementing controls on machines.
  • Willingness to learn new skills such as software packages and areas of engineering.
  • Possess strong computer skills and competency with MS Office suite.
  • Ability to work without close supervision in a flexible environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, the ability to work well under pressure and be innovative in problem-solving.
  • Excellent technical presentation skills.
  • Expectation to travel up to 25% to wind farms.
  • Physical fitness required to climb wind turbines.
