Successful applicants will bring deep experience with designing, deploying, and managing RedHat Openshift deployments in on-prem, hybrid, and cloud environments, a strong collaborative spirit, experience successfully mentoring junior team members, superior problem solving skills, and a clear focus on supporting customer needs.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement RedHat Openshift deployments to meet customer requirementsAutomate deployments form the infrastructure level to the platform levelConfigure and install software, servers, routers and other network devicesResolve issues tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting deployed, cloud, and local deploymentsMentor team members on technical issuesCommunicate with users to design and field optimal solutionsMaintain complete technical documentationOther duties as assignedRequirementsAt least two years of professional experience building and maintaining Kubernetes environments with Redhat Openshift Container Platform version 4+At least three years of professional experience using Linux operating systemsStrong understanding of Ansible playbooksStrong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutionsThe ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearanceA Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology or related field or equivalent experienceAbility to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearanceDemonstrated attention to detailGood verbal and written communication skillsCandidates meeting the following criteria will be preferred:Strong development experience using Docker, docker-compose, and/or KubernetesExperience deploying and maintaining CI/CD solutions for DevSecOps such as gitlab-ci and JenkinsExperience developing ansible playbooks for process automationExperience hardening Redhat Enterprise Linux Systems using DISA SCAP and STIGViewerExperience with VMWare compute, storage, and network configurationsDell server, switch and SAN configuration and maintenance experienceAbility to script with bash, python, or perlAn active DoD security clearance*Resumes, Cover Letters, and Applications which are generated by AI will not be considered for employmentBenefitsSciTec offers a highly competitive salary and benefits package, including:Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)3% Fully Vested Company 401K Contribution (no employee contribution required)100% company paid HSA Medical insurance, with a choice of 2 buy-up options80% company paid Dental insurance100% company paid Vision insurance100% company paid Life insurance100% company paid Long-term Disability insuranceShort-term Disability insuranceAnnual Profit-Sharing PlanDiscretionary Performance BonusPaid Parental LeaveGenerous Paid Time Off, including Holiday, Vacation, and Sick PayFlexible Work HoursThe pay range for this position is $93,000- $143,000 / year.
