Estimator Position Overview The Electrical Estimator will be
responsible for preparing detailed estimates for electrical
projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness. This role involves
collaborating with project managers and clients to understand
project requirements and cost implications, ultimately contributing
to successful project bids and execution. Key Responsibilities
Analyze project documents and specifications to determine the scope
of work and material requirements. Prepare detailed cost estimates
for electrical projects, including labor, materials, and overhead.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to clarify project
requirements and address any potential issues. Research and source
materials and equipment needed for projects, ensuring
cost-effectiveness and quality. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of
market trends, pricing, and industry standards to provide accurate
estimates. Participate in bid meetings and presentations to explain
estimates and address client questions. Track and manage costs
throughout the project lifecycle to ensure adherence to budget.
Qualifications 4 proven experience as an estimator in the
electrical construction industry. Strong knowledge of electrical
systems, codes, and regulations. Proficiency in estimation software
and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent analytical and mathematical
skills with a keen attention to detail. Effective communication and
interpersonal skills for client and team interactions. - For this
position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United
