Responsibilities: Clean floors, shampoo rugs, wash walls and glass, remove rubbish, and vacuum areas to maintain cleanliness. Follow procedures for the safe use of chemical cleaners and handle hazardous materials responsibly. Inspect and repair motorized cleaning equipment to ensure it is in working order. Track and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment needed for maintenance. Maintain floor clearing equipment to ensure proper operation. Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Report unsafe or items need repair to the facilities team immediately. Qualifications You Must Have: High school diploma or GED equivalent. 1 years of experience in a related field. Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience. Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and equipment operation. Ability to complete scheduled, routine tasks quickly and efficiently without close supervision. Must be capable of climbing stairs, ladders, and working on a stationary ladder. Familiarity with the safe use of tools and cleaning products. Valid Driver's License The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required Valid Colorado Driver License Must be willing to travel between all Dayton locations as required. Qualifications We Prefer: Certification in custodial or janitorial services. Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry. Familiarity with advanced cleaning equipment and safety procedures. Previous experience as a janitor Experience working with hand and power tools 1 years of experience in a related field Essential Functions: Ability to work on-site. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Ability to stand and walk for most of the work shift. Manual dexterity to handle cleaning tools and equipment. Ability to work in potentially hazardous or loud environments. Ability to travel as required. This posting will be open for application for a minimum of 5 days and may be extended based on business needs. Estimated Starting Salary Range: $19.09 - $26.25. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
