Based in our Boulder, Colorado location, you will lead the development and integration of systems based planning tools that improve Flow Solutions Group's manufacturing planning efficiency and effectiveness while maintaining or improving customer service levels. Lead Oracle/JDE planning systems integration across all Flow locations. Establish global processes that support the continuous growth of the Flow Solutions Group through planning and scheduling best practices. Support the establishment of a learning organization by leading change and continuous improvement activities.AS A MANAGER, GLOBAL PLANNING SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT, YOU WILL:Develop direct reports and other team members in personal development, systems thinking, process improvements and leadership skills using the Employee Development and Planning System (EDP).Ensure direct reports are compliant with company policies.Lead the development and integration training for Oracle based planning systems to improve the execution and control of the Manufacturing MPS functionality and control. Provide leadership & migration support to ensure consistency in system best practices in production scheduling, inventory management, and Resources Planning (MRP).Define production and supply planning information requirements to establish manufacturing alignment in global manufacturing capacity, master production scheduling, resource planning and line level rough cut capacity planning to improve operational effectiveness.Lead all project aspects including comprehensive schedule development, documenting business system flows, data validation & acceptance, user acceptance testing, and other necessary tasks.Provide subject matter expertise for business systems (Oracle and others). Perform role of "Super User"-- -.Lead systems training for global cross functional teams including Operations, Configuration Management, Purchasing, Information Technology, EngineeringClearly define business process needs utilizing current / future state maps, value stream maps, gap analysis, CIP teams and other formal tools.Develop and define feedback systems for production status verses the planning process and schedule.Identify strategies and long-term actions to mitigate risks in the supply chainWork to synchronize operations globally to ensure execution of the production plan is achievable and highlight supply gaps.Support efforts to implement and maintain Lean strategies in production.Define and implement monitoring tools and key performance measures to maintain complete control of project deliverables.WHO YOU ARE:As a successful candidate, you will have the following competencies: Drives Results, Drives Vision and Purpose, Global Perspective, Manages Complexity, Nimble Learning, Plans and Aligns.REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:Bachelor's degree in Business or Manufacturing SciencesMinimum of 7 (seven) years of experience in production planning, process improvements, or other planning and scheduling system-focused activities.Must have strong oral and written communication skills.Must be able to influence, lead, and implement process improvements.Must possess strong leadership skills and production knowledge.Demonstrated ability to work successfully in cross-functional, global and multi-divisional environments.Proficiency with business systems such as Oracle E-Business suite experience required including experience in systems integration in manufacturing planning, resource and capacity planning, Master Production Planning and supply chain management essential.PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:APICS CertificationTechnical training, management training, APICS CPIM certificationAdvanced degree highly desiredKnowledge of business processes, manufacturing systems including lean practices, manufacturing resource planning, and materials managementWHY EMERSON?Our Commitment to Our PeopleAcross the globe, we are united by a singular Purpose: We drive innovation that makes the world healthier, safer, smarter, and more sustainable.
