Job Description:

ONYX Insight is a global technology and engineering organization in the predictive analytics and machine health market. Our products and services include electronics for sensing machine health, cloud-based software, networking and connectivity, vibration diagnostics, and machine reliability consulting. These innovative software, hardware and consultancy services are trusted by our customers to manage asset health and reduce operating costs around the world.
Due to strong growth in our US market, we are now seeking an experienced sales professional to lead the positioning of our commercial offer to existing and new customers. You will manage the full sales cycle from prospect and pipeline management through to proposal, close and implementation. Experience selling technical solutions in a business-to-business context is a prerequisite for this role.
Key requirements:

  • Lead the full customer relationship management process from planning to proposal and delivery.
  • Travel to customers and pitch ONYX products and services
  • Build our opportunity pipeline and close opportunities
  • Scope and develop business opportunities with the operations/customer success teams
  • Plan and deliver digital customer marketing events (webinars)
  • Plan and deliver events (trade shows, conferences and technical symposiums)
  • Be accountable for sales target achievement and development/growth of key accounts
  • Maintain high-quality customer pipeline data in the CRM (Salesforce)
  • Champion the customer voice in all internal sales cycle support and strategic planning processes.
    Person Specification
    • A background in renewable energy; wind preferable
    • Experience of marketing and selling technical solutions in B2B
    • Strong contract/commercial and relationship management skills
    • The credibility to operate at a senior level within customer and partner organisations
    • A strong technical background and/or a first degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
    • The ability to scope, price and communicate high quality technical proposals
    • Engaging personality with ability to push for and close a deal
    • Leadership potential and ambition - personal drive and commitment to achieve growth and success
