complexities.SummaryDevelops, manages, and implements operational
procedures and policies for the business and support services
functions of BI Incorporated. This includes establishing and
maintaining fiscal reporting methods, procedures for payment of
invoices and other related activities.Primary Duties and
Responsibilities
- -Prepares and monitors annual budget and advises management of
budget status for BI overhead and departments not directly
impacting Electronic Monitoring and ISAP operations. Responsible
for monthly financial performance reviews with department heads
excluding ISAP and Electronic Monitoring Operations.
- -Directs the work of other employees. This would include
selection, hiring, evaluating performance, employee training and
development, promoting and disciplinary actions.
- -Ensures all BI Incorporated employees are accurately
compensated by providing leadership and guidance to the payroll
department. Provides guidance and oversight to ensure all payables
are processed on time. Completes payroll and purchasing audits to
ensure no fraud/theft of time has taken place.
- -Develops procedures and manages all non-manufacturing
purchases. Secures all necessary executive approvals for purchases
based on authority level.
- -Develops procedure and manages all capital expenditure
purchases, with the exception of manufacturing product. Tracks and
reports on capital expenditures.
- -Develops procedures for and manages all fixed assets to
include proper departmental training of tracking fixed assets. This
includes annual fixed asset inventory, properly tagging inventory,
and how to dispose of assets.
- -Reviews all billing documents, may submit invoices for
payment, completes monthly audits of revenue invoicing.
- -May be responsible for telecommunications payments, analysis,
and recommendations on controlling telecom expenses.
- -Provides for receiving, storing, and accountability of
supplies, services and equipment.
- -Maintains census figures to include monthly ISAP participant
counts, EM equipment counts, and other pertinent data.
- -Performs other duties as assigned.Job Requirements:Minimum
Requirements
- -Bachelor's Degree in business related field such as Business,
Finance or Accounting required; or an equivalent combination of
work experience and education.
- -Minimum of five (5) years of work experience in a
finance-related role required with budget preparation and
administration of government contracts preferred.
- -At least three (3) years of supervisory experience.
- -Must exhibit leadership and the ability and desire to work in
a cooperative manner and to make management decisions.
- -Excellent communication and customer service skills with
internal and external contacts at all levels.
- -Ability to lead projects and improve processes.
- -Accurate, attentive to detail, and well organized with the
ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- -Self-motivated with a proven ability to work
independently.
- -Management and leadership skills.
- -Ability to work with computers and the necessary software
