by creating common goalsJob DetailsThe DevOps Engineering Manager
tackles organization's technical challenges at infrastructure and
all inbound/outbound connectivity boundaries while continuously
driving technical excellence, working with management to support
execution of them organization's vision.The ideal candidate will
act as the primary interface between the development group and the
hosting teams and will focus on improving proactive detection and
prevention of incidents impacting accessibility and availability of
organization's platforms serving the customer base.The position
will provide additional training focusing on continuous improvement
of managerial skills and will have requirements of completion of AE
Manager Training, L4M - Leadership for Managers, New Manager
Fundamentals, Managing Remote Employees, Developing Optimum
Employee Performance, and ongoing HR
mentorship.Responsibilities:Displays technical leadership and
oversight of implementation and deployment planning, system
integration, ongoing data validation processes, quality assurance,
delivery, operations, and sustainability of technical
solutionsEvaluates technological choices (network/hardware related,
and technology/code related) by querying providers and providing
evaluations of each solution include ROI evaluations in the present
and future implications, limitations, and opportunitiesWork with
platform architects on software and system optimizations, helping
to identify and remove potential performance bottlenecksCollaborate
with front-end and big data development teams on user-facing
features, services, and data driven experiencesMaintains issue
tracking and documentation systems and provides reporting that
ensures proper tracking and visibility of issues and
projectsProvides process improvement recommendations based on best
practices and industry standardsResolves conflicts by demonstrating
leadership and appropriate decision-making competenciesIs
responsible for complex technical management coordination with
multiple vendors and staffIs responsible for the development of
standards and processes for operations that proactively prevent
problems from occurringIs responsible for ensuring proper security
precautions are taken and implemented working with the security
team.Qualifications:Ability to drive to high level goals and
milestones.2-3+ years of DevOps Manager or related experience with
increasing responsibilities and understanding of quality control
processes, artifacts and tools.Experience and working knowledge of
infrastructure operating on AWS. Knowledge of services Kinesis, S3,
EC2, IAM, Lamda functions, Route 53Experience and working knowledge
of Kubernetes with focus on scalability and downtime
reduction.Understanding of infrastructure as code technologies and
approaches and utilization of them in software development life
cycle.Knowledge in deployment, scaling, monitoring of SQL and
No-SQL databases is a plus.Understanding or working knowledge of
event-driven architecture and the components services involved is a
plus.Self-motivated individual.Strong sense of personal
responsibility and accountability for delivering high quality
work.In depth knowledge and administrations experience of Windows
and Linux OS environments.Understanding of DevSecOps and the role
it plays in ensuring reduction in platform vulnerabilities and
