are looking for an experienced Hospital Operations Manager at our
brand new, state-of-the-art medical facility in Boulder, Colorado!

The Hospital Operations Manager is an integral member of the
hospital and leadership team. The Hospital Operations Manager
assists the Hospital Director to provide a smooth and profitable
operation by driving revenue and managing costs while creating a
hospital culture based on high quality patient care and exceptional
customer service. Job Duties and Responsibilities Operations
---Assists and participates in the daily oversight of hospital
functions. ---Partners with all hospital team leaders to
problem-solve and ensure that client's needs are exceeded, and that
optimal patient care is delivered on a consistent basis.
---Partners with hospital leadership to continuously drive the
hospital program forward to maximize growth and revenue potential.
---Serves as the overseer of the hospital's OSHA compliance.
Develops and maintains a current hospital safety program and
involves appropriate team members as necessary. ---Supports all
hospital areas as a resource of information and assistance.
---Provides staff support in a non-managerial capacity. ---Develops
policies and procedures in cooperation with divisional managers for
hospital operations. Financial Duties ---Participates in hospital
payroll processes. ---Conducts the calculation, reporting, and pay
of doctor commissions. This includes reporting the commissions to
the finance department on the 1st of the month. ---Participates
with Hospital Director in financial oversight of revenue and
expenses for hospital. ---Participates with Hospital Director in
budget planning and strategic planning both short-term and
long-term. ---Submits expenses as necessary to NVA C-F for
processing. ---Communicates with vendors as necessary regarding
Accounts Payable. ---Management of accounts receivable, including
employee pet balances, and accounts with external collection
agencies. ---Approval of invoices as expense reports in Concur.
---Auditing and entry of employee accounts and invoicing. This
includes entering the employee pet payments from payroll into the
PIMS. ---Manages the financial aspects of Ezyvet to ensure that
charges are kept up to date with new procedures, consults and
supplies. Acts as part of the Ezyvet super user group to assist
with hospital operations. People Management ---Works closely with
the MDVM/MD and HD as applicable to oversee staffing needs
including hiring, training, disciplining, and terminating as
required. ---Helps Divisional Managers recruit new employees and
participates in the selection process. ---Helps in the completion
of employee orientation, training and participates in performance
appraisals. ---Assists Divisional Managers with the implementation
of performance-based incentive and rewards and recognition
programs. ---Assists Hospital Director and Medical Director with
mediation of conflict and maintains employee morale. Client Service
---Supports administration and review of non-medical client
complaints. ---Understands, participates and supports planned
marketing events and programs and ensure that the hospital staff
utilizes marketing tools and materials and events and
programs.Qualifications ---Minimum of 5 years of experience in a
medical care facility operations management with profit and loss
responsibility. ---Bachelor's degree in a Business or related
discipline with 5+ years of business operations desired. Veterinary
or human healthcare hospital management is beneficial, but not
required.---CVPM highly desired---Knowledge of financial budget
management. ---Background in managing service-oriented operations.
---Ability to plan, organize and effectively present ideas and
concepts. ---Ability to take information obtained from clients,
staff, and other sources, discern that which is credible and assess
the hospital and its operation objectively. ---Strong oral and
written communication skills. ---Excellent interpersonal skills.
---Must be able to multi-task and deal with high levels of stress
in an environment of changing priorities. *Benefits include but are
