If you are an Information Technology professional looking to grow your career, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in Boulder, CO, (will consider other US Emerson office locations), you will be responsible for leading technical training, organizational development, and supporting employee engagement initiatives for Emerson Automation Solutions IT employees. The IT Training and OD Manager plans, develops, implements and administers development and training programs for company employees. The manager also acts as liaison and advisor to Human Resources and the organization's leadership and facilitates initiatives across the organization. They will work with IT leaders for global strategy coordination for continuous improvement in employee development, work culture, recognition, upskilling & certifications.

This role has the flexibility of a work-from-home option up to three days a week. Our teams work together to ensure our chosen work schedules enable our creativity and productivity as we serve the needs of our customers.

As AN IT Training and Organizational Development Manager You Will:

* Understand CIO vision and work with Group Heads, Managers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to prepare Technical Skills requirements and Trainings for existing work priorities and in line with future technology roadmap
* Manage the development of technical trainings / courses for specialized skills with focus on Emerson specific content


* Identify, Design, Develop, Complete, and Lead Employee Engagement Success Programs, Trainings, Activities, and Resources with a long-term vision and roadmap within Emerson Automation Solutions IT Organization
* Programs, Trainings, Activities, and Resources include but not limited to:
* Soft Skills Training
* Formal and informal Mentoring Programs
* Conferences to support employee recognition and development
* Recognition Program / CIO Awards
* Sustainable Work Life Balance Culture
* Centralized Approved Global Trainings & Certifications Repository and Calendar


* Develop recommendations gain support for ideas, and build engagement / partnership with IT leaders and other key stakeholders
* Maintain a detailed understanding of training trends, developments and best practices
* Conduct individual and team skills gap analysis
* Design, evaluate and report program's KPIs
* Create, manage and report on the budget required for implementing various training programs
* Business Process Management which includes:
* Identify and propose the most effective approach for training delivery through own research and consultation with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
* Create standard process and best practices to follow across all sites



WHO YOU ARE:

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPEREINCE & SKILLS:

* Bachelor's degree or will consider equivalent experience in lieu of degree
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT an organization
* Experience with learning management systems and self-service training environment
* Technically proficient; capable of understanding discussing software fundamentals such as development stacks, As Is, security requirements etc.
* Experience with business systems such as Oracle EBS, SAP
* Good analytical skills and inquiring mind
* Ability to make high quality decisions effectively and efficiently
* Strong verbal, written and presentation communication abilities in English
* Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%
* Legal authorization to work in the United States

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPEREINCE & SKILLS:

* Minimum of 3 years of experience as Training Manager / Coordinator or similar roles
* Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+)

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during the annual merit review process. In accordance with Colorado EPEWA, the [salary] range for this role is $80,0000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
