Through the delivery of our operations and maintenance services, you'll make it simpler and more seamless for our municipal clients to operate safely and efficiently, empowering communities to focus on what matters most to them - people.Jacobs is seeking a highly motivated Program Director to lead a team of professionals at our Centennial, CO project to deliver the services currently identified in our contract, which includes Public Works, Code Compliance, and Facility/Park/Fleet Maintenance. As the Centennial Program Director, you'll be responsible for the project's profitable and sustainable financial performance, safety, contract management, service delivery, human resources, purchasing/procurement, risk management, and client management.Bring your team-focus, adaptability, and commitment to excellence, safety, diversity, and inclusion, and we'll help you grow what drives you and deliver service excellence together for the Centennial project.Essential Duties and Responsibilitie---Establish, maintain, and foster a culture of safety at the project through various methods and practices, including the safety committee, safety tailgates and stand downs, accident prevention, reports, training; ensure project staff active use of the ion City application for reporting and documenting of Beyond Zero Observations, pre-task planning, site safety inspections/assessments, and fleet inspection---Develop project annual budgets; manage project performance against planned budget to ensure profitability ratios; review cost variance reports; prepare month-end cost accruals; track and prepare invoicing for completed work; update budgets for out-of-scope work---Manage contract to ensure service delivery and compliance with key performance metrics; prepare service reports at frequencies agreed to with the client; advise management as to project performance; identify opportunities for new work or expand existing scope through task or change orders to improve profit margins; manage Jacobs procurement of vendors and subcontractors or materials to support service delivery---Manage project human-resource needs, including recruiting, mentoring, career development, staff retention, succession planning, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary action---Develop and maintain a project sustainability plan in coordination with the project sustainability champion---Develop and manage the client relationship plan; complete business reviews with the client at least quarterly; attend meetings, serve on committees, and make presentations as needed; represent Jacobs at community events and regional functions; provide information and make presentations to City Manager, Mayor and City Council as needed---Assist with public relations duties including responding to questions from the media and public regarding issues, procedures, and service---Performs other similar duties as assignedBring your team-focus, adaptability, and commitment to excellence, and we'll help you grow what drives you - and deliver the world's most challenging Operations Management projects, together.#bia #omfQualifications **Please review carefully, individuals must have all of these to be considered.---Bachelor's degree in Civil/Mechanical/or other related Engineering, Business, Public Administration or similar and 10 years progressively responsible experience in engineering, administration, or municipal/city management; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position---Strong interpersonal relationship skills with the ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with client staff and elected officials, business leaders, advisory boards, news media, contractors, suppliers and the general public---Excellent verbal and written communication skill---Proficient in Microsoft Office application---Valid driver's license with no major infraction---Must be capable of operating a company vehicle in the performance of dutieIdeally, You Will Also Have:---Active PE license in the State of Colorado---Master's degree in Public AdministrationWorking ConditionThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
