Job Description:
Wage Notice: $105,000 - $120,000 The base salary offered may
vary depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills,
and experience.

Position Summary:
The EHS Manager is responsible for developing, planning, and
directing programs that ensure employee engagement, regulatory
compliance and the implementation of EHS management system to
protect human health and safety and protect the environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish a culture that is aligned with SomaLogic's EHS goals and
objectives, with continuous EHS improvements
Manage, direct, coach, lead, and motivate employees to achieve EHS
goals and objectives in a timely and safe manner, while
continuously striving to improve safety skills & awareness
Oversee chemical inventory management for SDS management and
reporting
Manage the site's waste management programs
(hazardous/non-hazardous), regulated medical waste, waste recycling
and universal waste
Assist in planning, directing, and coordinating EHS compliance
activities through functional teams, and with direction of the
Facilities Director
Serve as a key EHS partner with manufacturing, operations,
research, and maintenance organizations assisting in the execution
of their strategic and tactical EHS plans
Assist in the development and implementation of Environmental,
Health and Safety programs and activities for the facility to
achieve, maintain and exceed compliance with relevant regulatory
laws and regulations as well as comply with SomaLogic's policies,
standards and procedures
Responsible for directing incident investigations identifying root
causes of EHS Incidents and executing sustainable corrective
actions
Identify and develop good working relationships with federal, state
and local authorities (i.e., safety agencies, fire departments,
etc.) as well as appropriate internal Environmental, Health and
Safety contacts
Develop, coordinate and/or conduct EH&S training programs
Coordinate and assist in the execution of capital EHS projects to
ensure compliance with requirements and completion on a timely
basis. This includes recommendation of EHS capital equipment
purchases and other equipment to ensure compliance with rules and
regulations
Lead and assist employee safety teams to understand and own safety
and compliance down to the lowest level
Assist in providing information for Workers Compensation requests
(incident investigations)
Responsible for driving processes that will result in a reduction
of accidents and injuries and the identification of potential
hazards present in the workplace
Advise, develop, and facilitate safety training for all
employees
Key Relationships:
The EHS Manager reports directly to SomaLogic's Director of
Facilities Management.
Internal relationships include support to human resources, R&D,
manufacturing, facilities, operations, staff, supervisors and other
employees
External relationships include contacts with EHS contractors,
staff, government representatives, suppliers, equipment vendors,
contractors and others on matters related to EHS
The position will require expertise in Safety and Health with
Environmental oversight
Qualifications:
BS degree in Safety Science or relevant field with at least 10+
years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment
CSP or ASP credential preferred
Bi-lingual in Spanish and English helpful
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, ANSI and EPA regulations and reporting
requirements.

support, tenacity and skills in share point sites.
Demonstrated professional with passion for change and relentless
