Northrop Grumman Space Systems is looking for a Security Manager 2
to join our team of diverse and talented individuals at our
Boulder, CO location. This role serves as the Site Security Manager
for our Boulder, CO site supporting two of our operating units,
OPIR Exploitation Systems and Advanced Missile Solutions. The Site
Security Manager will serve as the site Facility Security Officer
(FSO) as well as supporting CPSOs and a CSSO. You will also
interface with the director's, program manager's and program
personnel within the operating units. In this role the selected
candidate will be responsible for leading a very diverse and
complex security organization in a very dynamic and fast paced
environment. Additionally, they will have program security
responsibilities to ensure compliance with Government and corporate
security directives within Northrop Grumman. A key role for this
position is the primary interface with Government Security
counterparts as well as Program Management. The successful
candidate must be an experienced security professional with strong
leadership and interpersonal skills. They must be able to adapt in
a highly charged and challenging work environment and take on
assigned programs responsibilities as needed to support their team.
Report directly to the INS Business Unit Security Manager.
Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: Leading
a team of security professionals to ensure consistent application
of the leadership characteristics that are expected of all
employees within the organization. Ensuring employee engagement
across the team. Collaboration across teams within the Security
organization. Providing leadership, guidance, and professional
development/mentoring to professionals at all levels. Developing
and implementing security policy and standards across the programs.
Ensuring all program performance objectives as well as key
milestones and deliverables are met. FSO experience is required and
a strong understanding of the 32 CFR Part 117, NISPOM.
Understanding of Special Access Program (SAP) and Sensitive
Compartmented Information (SCI) security requirements and policies.
Managing the department security budget within established targets.
Provide oversight to the contract security officer organization
onsite, provide performance feedback and manage/approve invoices.
Member of the site Crisis Management Team and Emergency Action Plan
engagement. Other duties as assigned by the INS Business Unit
Security manager. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's with ten years
of experience OR Master's degree with eight years of experience; an
additional four years of security experience can be used in lieu of
Bachelor's degree. An active Top Secret DOD security clearance with
an investigation date within with last 6 years. Working knowledge
of 32 CFR Part 117, NISPOM Supplements, DoDM 5205/07 V1-4, ICD 705,
and ISLs. Working knowledge of DoD classified programs. Experience
mentoring and training junior and mid-level personnel. Preferred
Qualifications: Top Secret/SCI clearance. Completion of the FSO
Program Management for Possessing Facilities IS030.CU curriculum
located on the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency's
(DCSA) Security Training, Education and Professionalization Portal
(STEPP). DCSA CDSE certification (SFPC, PSC, etc.) desired. Salary
Range: $116,600 - $175,000 Employees may be eligible for a
discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are
designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow
employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President
or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In
