Job Description:
Maintenance Mechanic
We are hiring for a Maintenance Mechanic who will be responsible
for the care and maintenance of our production equipment and
systems in a safe and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by
completing maintenance requirements on production, grinding,
coiling, and processing equipment.
Read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, service manuals,
and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
Could weld a variety of metal parts and assemble new and or
existing mechanical components
Will set up, perform, and support all the bench operations
necessary to make, alter, repair machines
Complete repairs in a timely manner maintaining high quality
standards
Use a variety of hand and power tools, and material handling
equipment in performing duties
Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible and accurate
format, and completed with required information
Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area
Maintain accurate records of maintenance issues on all
equipment
Follow the proper methods and procedures for the handling of
non-hazardous waste in the plant and removal of waste from the
plant
Deal with outside contractors for routine maintenance items/service
contracts when necessary
Assist with the installation, movement and disassembly of machinery
and equipment
