Job Duties and Responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to implement back-end software solutions to serve both internal and external customers. The position entails working on an agile development team within our Order Management (COM/SOM) team to develop Java based projects in a cloud-native environment. You will interface with other teams within the organization to develop complete systems to better our customers experiences.Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and test APIs, using Java with Spring Boot framework
• Drive complex technical projects from planning through execution
• Work closely with product owner to deliver business features
• Interface with other teams as needed to resolve dependencies
• Micro service implementation to enable both intra and inter-domain application integration
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolution of issues and handling release deployments
• Participate in the design and architecture of software solutions
• Evaluate and use the right AWS services to implement scalable and cost-effective solutions
• Collaborate with internal team members to share responsibilities for the platform
• Coordinate delivery by working with globally distributed teams on a daily basis
  Skills, Experience and Requirements
  
  Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience; Masters Degree preferred
  • 4+ years of progressive experience developing Java-based applications and microservicesSkills and Qualifications:
    • Experience in creating solutions using AWS Cloud Native tools like Lambda, Step Functions, etc.
    • Experience building, documenting, and supporting robust RESTful APIs
    • Deep understanding of Computer Science fundamentals; including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis
    • Cloud-native CI/CD and Git knowledge (branches, submodules, rebasing)
    • Experience using container management tools such as Kubernetes and Docker
    • Experience with MongoDB and Kafka is preferred

      Salary Ranges
      
      Compensation: $96,250.00/Year - $158,125.00/Year
