Job Description:
Registered Nurse - PCU Full Time, Nights. 36 hours/week. Pay
Range is between $39.68-$55.52/hr, depending on years of relevant
and like experience. Includes night differential Boulder Community

as a direct patient caregiver within the unit care delivery
system.# Integrates nursing theories in patient care. JOB
QUALIFICATIONS Special Qualifications (Licensure, Registration,
etc.) Colorado RN license in good standing BLS required by end of
conditional period.# Employees hired prior to 3/6/15 must have
current BLS by 12/31/15. ACLS certification required within 6
months of hire Knowledge, Skill and Ability Demonstrated physical
and mental ability to apply nursing theories, procedures and
standards to clinical practice Experience One to two years RN
clinical nursing experience preferred. Six months to one year
Telemetry/Critical Care experience preferred. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES Clinical Patient Care Provides direct total
patient care for specific group of patients with collaboration as
needed. Demonstrates clinical competence in performing nursing
procedures and identifies the rationale underlying the nursing
skills. Identifies patient care problems, makes interventions based
upon an understanding of the biopsychosocial processes. Assesses
patient status systematically and anticipates and responds to
changes in patient clinical condition. Actively seeks participation
of the patient, family, and other members of the health care team
to assure continuity of patient care. Communicates clearly in all
aspects of documentation. May be required to perform point of care
testing.# May be a point of care trainer. It is the expectation
that all care providers document accurately and in real time,
utilizing the electronic medical record within their department.
Employees are expected to comply with all regulatory requirements,
including Joint Commission Standards.# Patient Education
Collaborates with interdisciplinary patient care team to identify
patient learning needs, develops and implements an individualized
teaching plan. Management and Decision Making Utilizes effective
time management skills in planning and providing patient care.
