Job Description:
Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health Services IP Full Time,
Nights. 36 hours/week. Pay Range is between $39.68-$55.52/hr,
depending on years of relevant and like experience. Range includes
night differential. +$2.50/hr for evening and weekend shifts.#

clinical employee for Behavioral Health Services, which serves the
needs of young, middle, and older adults, the registered nurse
functions as a direct patient caregiver within the unit care
delivery system, with increasing independence.# Integrates nursing
theories and solution focused therapy into patient care. JOB
QUALIFICATIONS Special Qualifications (licensure, registration,
etc.) Colorado RN license in good standing. BLS from the American
Heart Association within conditional period. Knowledge, Skill and
Ability Demonstrated physical and mental ability to apply nursing
theories, procedures and standards to clinical practice. Experience
1-2 years psychiatric experience preferred. ESSENTIAL
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Provides direct total patient care for
specific group of patients with collaboration as needed.
Demonstrates clinical competence in performing nursing procedures
and identifies the rationale underlying the nursing skills.
Identifies patient care problems, makes interventions based upon an
understanding of the biopsychosocial processes. Assesses patient
status systematically and anticipates and responds to changes in
patient clinical condition. Actively seeks participation of the
patient, family, and other members of the health care team to
assure continuity of patient care. Communicates clearly in all
aspects of documentation. It is the expectation that all care
providers document accurately and in real time, utilizing the
electronic medical record within their department. Employees are
expected to comply with all regulatory requirements, including
Joint Commission Standards.# Identifies patient learning needs,
develops and implements an individualized teaching plan for
patients. Utilizes effective time management skills in planning and
