Job Description:
Registered Nurse - Ortho / Neuro Half Time, Days. 18 hours/week.
Pay Range is between $31.68-$47.52/hr, depending on years of
relevant and like experience.#+$2.50/hr for shifts. Boulder

direct patient caregiver within the unit care delivery system.#
Integrates nursing theories in patient care. JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Special Qualifications (Licensure, Registration, etc.) Colorado RN
license in good standing. BLS required by end of conditional
period. ACLS encouraged for Clinical Team Leads. ONC certification
preferred. NIHSS certification required by 12/31/17and within 6
months of hire. Knowledge, Skill and Ability Demonstrated and
mental ability to apply theories, procedures and standards to
clinical practice. Experience One to two years RN clinical nursing
experience preferred. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical Patient Care Provides direct total patient care for
specific group of patients with collaboration as needed.
Demonstrates clinical competence in performing nursing procedures
and identifies the rationale underlying the nursing skills.
Identifies patient care problems, makes interventions based upon an
understanding of the biopsychosocial processes. Assesses patient
status systematically and anticipates and responds to changes in
patient clinical condition. Actively seeks participation of the
patient, family, and other members of the health care team to
assure continuity of patient care. Communicates clearly in all
aspects of documentation. Practices universal precautions
appropriately. May be required to perform point of care testing.#
May be a point of care trainer. It is the expectation that all care
providers document accurately and in real time, utilizing the
