Job Description:
Half Time, Nights. 20 hours/week.
Pay Range is between $39.68-$55.52/hr, depending on years of
relevant and like experience. **Range includes night differential.
+$2.50/hr for evening and weekend shifts.

POSITION SUMMARY
As a clinical employee for Behavioral Health Services, which serves
the needs of young, middle, and older adults, the registered nurse
functions as a direct patient care giver within the unit's care
delivery system, with increasing independence. Integrates nursing
theories and solution focused therapy into patient care.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Special Qualifications ( licensure , registration, etc.)
+ Colorado RN license in good standing.
+ BLS from the American Heart Association within conditional
period.
Knowledge, Skill and Ability
Demonstrated physical and mental ability to apply nursing theories,
procedures and standards to clinical practice.
Experience
1-2 years psychiatric experience preferred.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Provides direct total patient care for specific group of patients
with collaboration as needed.
+ Demonstrates clinical competence in performing nursing procedures
and identifies the rationale underlying the nursing skills.
+ Identifies patient care problems, makes interventions based upon
an understanding of the biopsychosocial processes.
+ Assesses patient status systematically and anticipates and
responds to changes in patient clinical condition.
+ Actively seeks participation of the patient, family, and other
members of the health care team to assure continuity of patient
care.
+ Communicates clearly in all aspects of documentation.
+ It is the expectation that all care providers document accurately
and in real time, utilizing the electronic medical record within
their department.
+ Employees are expected to comply with all regulatory
requirements, including Joint Commission Standards.
+ Identifies patient learning needs, develops and implements an
individualized teaching plan for patients.
+ Utilizes effective time management skills in planning and
providing patient care.
