Full Time, Days. 40 hours/week. M, T, Th, F 8:00am - 6:30:00pm
$10,000 Sign-On Bonus Available! *not available for current BCH
staff.Pay Range is between $25.18 - 37.77/hr, depending on years of
relevant and like experience.Boulder Community Health is a

to the community.POSITION SUMMARYPerform all aspects of diagnostic
radiological studies, consistently producing the highest quality
exams possible. Must be able to perform work independently.JOB
QUALIFICATIONSEducation or Formal TrainingDegree from Radiological
Technology school as required by ARRT registration.Special
Qualifications (licensure, registration, etc.)ARRT registered or
registry eligibleBLS required by end of conditional
period.Knowledge, Skill and AbilityMust have basic understanding of
human physiology.Ability to problem solve.Able to adapt exam
routines and techniques when necessary to optimize quality of
exams.Good interpersonal communication skills.Ability to work
closely with radiologists and other physicians.Must have computer
and organizational skills.Ability to handle stress.Knowledge of
sterile preparation and procedures.Ability to perform venipuncture
if applicable.ExperienceIf student tech must be within four months
of completion of Radiological Technology degree.ESSENTIAL
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESProvides quality patient care.Performs exams
using good judgment in scanning, radiographing, and documenting
anatomy/pathology.Assists the radiologist and other physicians with
interpretation of exams.Assists the radiologists and other
physicians with invasive procedures.Transports patients to and from
department or other areas within the hospital.Performs injections
of contrast material (oral, rectal, and IV) if applicable.Schedules
patients.Assists in the training of new technologists and
students.Coordinates clinical information and previous testing to
determine if additional views need to be obtained.Directs patients
to appropriate treatment room, performs patient intake including
health history, verification of allergies and current medications.
