Position Summary: The Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct and individualized nursing care to patients on a general medical-surgical unit. The RN is responsible for monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, collaborating with the healthcare team, and promoting recovery through evidence-based nursing practices. Responsibilities: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in coordination with the interdisciplinary team. Monitor and record patients’ conditions and vital signs. Administer medications, wound care, and other prescribed treatments. Prepare patients for procedures and assist physicians as needed. Educate patients and families on health conditions, discharge plans, and follow-up care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation.
