Internal Medicine Veterinary Technician! We're thrilled to announce
a major expansion at Colorado Animal Specialty & Emergency (CASE)
in Boulder, CO, marking a new chapter of growth and opportunity! To
meet the evolving needs of our patients and community, we're adding
a dedicated corridor for Internal Medicine, Dentistry, Dermatology,
and Ophthalmology services. This addition, along with extensive
renovations to our ICU, Nephrology, and minimally invasive suite,
will provide state-of-the-art equipment and enhanced facilities.
With this expansion, we’re adding over 10,000 square feet of
cutting-edge space, creating an environment where excellence in
patient care thrives. We’re excited to continue growing, elevating

Medicine Technician, you’ll be at the heart of our Internal
Medicine team, playing a crucial role in ensuring top-notch patient
care and providing essential support to all CASE departments. Your
expertise and compassion will directly impact the well-being of our
patients and the success of our hospital team. Location: - Boulder,
CO Compensation: - $25 - $32 pending skills level assessment
Schedule: - Weekdays, exact hours TBD What You’ll Do: - Champion
Patient Care: Be the go-to expert in creating patient estimates and
formulating treatment plans, ensuring our Internal Medicine
patients receive the best care possible. - Be a History Detective:
Skillfully gather and document patient medical histories, providing
invaluable information to our medical team. - Orchestrate Seamless
Admissions & Discharges: Manage the smooth admission and discharge
of patients, leaving both pets and their owners with a positive
experience. - Educate & Communicate: Become a trusted resource for
our clients by providing clear communication, education, and
assistance with scheduling appointments, endoscopies, and advanced
imaging. - Support Life-Saving Procedures: Prepare patients for
critical procedures like endoscopy, rhinoscopy, bronchoscopy, and
GI foreign body removal, ensuring everything runs smoothly. -
Master Restraint & Venipuncture: Show your expertise in safe
patient restraint, venipuncture, and peripheral catheter placement,
contributing to patient comfort and safety. - Lead Lab Work
Excellence: Take charge of handling and processing in-house lab
machinery, creating blood films, staining slides, and performing
manual differentials with precision. - Manage External Lab
Submissions: Oversee external lab submissions, ensuring samples are
stored, shipped, and processed correctly. Anesthesia
Responsibilities: - Pre-Anesthesia Assessments: Conduct thorough
pre-anesthesia examinations, playing a key role in assessing safety
and risks for our Internal Medicine patients. - Guide Anesthetic
Plans: Implement and monitor anesthetic plans from start to finish,
with the support of our CASE centralized anesthesia team. -
Optimize Equipment Use: Set up and troubleshoot anesthesia
machinery and monitoring equipment, following CASE protocols in
