Prepares and maintains a sterile field, ensuring proper technique and adherence to infection control standards throughout procedures. Collaborates with radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure appropriate imaging and continuity of patient care. Ensures quality in imaging, patient care, and workflow. Performs direct patient care duties within the technologist's scope of practice, including monitoring patient condition, transporting patient, and using proper infection control techniques. Maintains accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems. Supports inventory and supply management, including checking expirations dates, stocking of supplies, and notifying appropriate personnel of shortages. Operates and maintains equipment safely, properly wears Dosimeter badge, and minimizes radiation exposure. Other duties as assigned. Prepares and administers contrast agents as directed, following safety protocols and monitoring for adverse reactions. Participates in time-out and procedural verification processes, ensuring correct patient identification, procedure, and site. Supports inventory and supply management, including checking expirations dates, stocking of supplies, and notifying appropriate personnel of shortages. Positions patients and equipment appropriately, and operates fluoroscopy and imaging systems to capture high-quality, real-time images for accurate guidance. The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: High School Grad or Equiv (Required)Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Certified Radiologic Technologist (R.T.-CERT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Department of Safety and Professional Services Licensed (DSPS-LIC) - Accredited Issuing Body, Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Licensed Radiology Technologist - Kansas State Board of Healing Arts (L.R.T.) - Accredited Issuing Body, Medical Radiation Technology - IEMA (MRT-IEMA) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Medical Radiologic Tech (MRT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Registered Technologist - Radiography (R.T.(R)(ARRT)) - EV Accredited Issuing Body Pay Range: $32.53 - $60.50 This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
