Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is seeking dedicated Night Shift
Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our compassionate teams in
providing exceptional care at our inpatient rehabilitation
facilities. As a Night Shift RN, you will be pivotal in delivering
high-quality, personalized care to patients during the night shift,
ensuring their comfort and safety throughout their recovery
process. This role includes a $6/hr shift differential as a token
of appreciation for your commitment to our patients during these
critical hours. Monitor patient health and administer basic care
utilizing the nursing process within the scope of the nurse's
practice standards. Collaborate with physicians and
multidisciplinary team members to plan, implement, and evaluate
patient care plans. Perform diagnostic tests and medical treatments
according to physicians’ orders. Administer medications accurately,
observing patient response, as indicated by the prescribing
physician. Document patient care services by charting in patient
and department records. Educate patients and families on illness
and injury prevention and treatment plans. Provide emotional
support and compassionate care to patients and their families.
Strong clinical skills in a healthcare setting Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in using
healthcare software and systems Ability to work independently and
collaboratively in a team environment Capable of critical thinking
and problem-solving under pressure Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current registered nurse license in
the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
preferred.
