We are a busy medical floor with specialty in caring for surgical
flap patients: spinal cord injury patients with stage 4 wounds that
require surgical intervention. We partner with our burn unit and
care for low-acuity burn patients. We do use some semi-private
rooms when hospital census gets high, and we need to. (not our
