Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Degree in Radiologic Technology,
Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and
minimum 1 years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who
do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An
opportunity is available for a skilled Radiologic Technologist to
perform comprehensive radiographic procedures in a dynamic
healthcare environment. This contract position involves obtaining
high-quality diagnostic images in alignment with physician
specifications, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the
process. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct diagnostic X-ray
procedures accurately and efficiently. - Operate and maintain all
X-ray imaging and related equipment appropriately. - Educate,
position, and immobilize patients to capture optimal images. -
Coordinate imaging examinations to maintain timeliness, quality,
and continuity of patient care. - Interpret and follow imaging
orders precisely to meet clinical requirements. - Submit images and
clinical information to Radiologists for diagnosis. - Evaluate
image quality and ensure it meets diagnostic standards. - Maintain
open, clear communication with patients, radiologists, and the
healthcare team. - Manage supplies effectively, adhering to
department protocols. - Practice infection prevention and sterile
techniques meticulously. - Perform safe patient transfers and
administer contrast as per protocol. - Adhere to Radiation Safety
Measures (ALARA) to protect patients and staff. - Supervise and
evaluate student radiographers during clinical training.
Qualifications and Desired Experience: - Certified Radiologic
Technologist with a valid license. - Proficiency in diagnostic
radiographic techniques and patient care. - Knowledge of radiation
safety standards and infection control. - Strong multitasking
skills and the ability to meet deadlines. - Experience in
supervising or mentoring students is advantageous. - Excellent
communication and teamwork abilities. Location:Situated in Aurora,
