Job Description:
UCHealth, a renowned nonprofit health care system based in
Colorado, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Travel RN
specializing in Labor & Delivery to join our team of healthcare
professionals. Our system provides comprehensive health services
through an extensive network of hospitals and outpatient
facilities, focusing on delivering patient-centered care tailored
to the needs of our communities. In this role, the selected
candidate will have the opportunity to work across various
locations, offering critical support in labor and delivery units,
ensuring the health and safety of both mothers and their newborns.
This position requires flexibility, a high level of skill, and a
passion for maternal and child health. Provide and manage direct
patient care for mothers and newborns. Monitor, record, and
communicate patient condition as appropriate. Participate in the
development and modification of the nursing care plan. Educate and
support mothers and their families after childbirth. Ensure
compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards. Travel
between facilities in the UCHealth system as needed. Support the
healthcare team and collaborate with physicians and other nurses to
optimize patient outcomes. Strong clinical skills in labor and
delivery. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability
to work effectively in a dynamic and changing environment.
Proficiency in electronic health record systems. Ability to perform
under stress when confronted with emergency or critical situations.
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance
401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado
or ability to obtain. BLS Certification ACLS Certification NRP
(Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification preferred but not
required.
