Swedish Medical Center, a proud member of HealthONE, is currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Respiratory Therapist II to join our team. This role involves providing expert respiratory care services to patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders. Our state-of-the-art facilities enable our staff to deliver superior medical care, ensuring effective treatment and recovery processes. In this position, you will play a crucial role in patient management within our respiratory care department, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Assess, diagnose, and treat individuals suffering from cardiopulmonary disorders. Operate and maintain a variety of respiratory equipment to administer treatments. Perform regular assessments of patients and adjust therapeutic procedures appropriately. Educate patients and families on managing illnesses and diseases requiring respiratory therapy. Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records. Proficient in using various types of respiratory care equipment Strong understanding of health and safety regulations Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required. Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) also preferred.
