Job Description:
Swedish Medical Center, a prestigious member of the HealthONE
family, is actively seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse Coordinator
for our Catheterization Laboratory. Our facility is renowned for
its patient-centered approach and outstanding medical services. In
this role, you will lead nursing staff, manage patient care in the
Cath Lab, and ensure adherence to all safety protocols. As a
coordinator, you will be pivotal in bridging the gap between
administrative functions and the direct care provided to patients,
which requires a blend of clinical expertise and leadership skills.
Coordinate and oversee all direct and indirect patient services
provided by the nursing staff. Implement patient care standards,
effective communication, and continuous quality improvement. Liaise
between patients, families, and various healthcare departments to
ensure seamless integration of services. Manage staffing
requirements and nurse scheduling to meet the specific needs of the
Cath Lab. Assist in the development and implementation of training
programs for new nurses and continuing education for existing
staff. Monitor compliance with current healthcare regulations,
medical laws, and high standards of practice. Strong leadership and
organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills Proficiency in using healthcare software and computer
systems In-depth knowledge of cardiac care and catheterization
procedures Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize
effectively Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse license in the state
of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life
Support (ACLS) certifications Certification in Cardiovascular
Nursing preferred
