Job Description:
Swedish Medical Center is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to
enhance our diverse team at our state-of-the-art facility. As a key
member of our imaging team, you will work within one of the most
acclaimed healthcare providers in the region, recognized for its
patient-centered approach and superior medical services. This role
involves operating CT (computed tomography) scanners to produce
cross-section images of patients’ bones, organs, and tissue that
are used to diagnose medical conditions. The ideal candidate will
be deeply committed to providing high-quality diagnostic images
while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images according to
physician instructions and industry standards. Prepare patients for
CT scans, including explaining the procedure, positioning patients
correctly, and ensuring their comfort. Monitor patient safety and
adherence to radiation protection standards and protocols. Analyze
images for quality and coverage of the necessary areas. Maintain
patient records and radiologic logs, documenting all performed
procedures. Collaborate with radiologists to determine if other
imaging is necessary and implement feedback to improve diagnostic
procedures. Proficiency in operating CT imaging equipment Strong
understanding of radiology protocols and anatomy Ability to
effectively communicate with patients, providing clear explanation
about procedures Capability to evaluate CT scans for technical
quality Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems

401k Certified and registered as a Radiologic Technologist by the
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Valid
certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) ARRT certification in
Computed Tomography is highly preferred.
