Job Description:
UCHealth, a leading nonprofit healthcare provider in Colorado,
is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our
Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CICU) for the night shift. This
critical role is integral to our commitment to delivering the
highest quality patient-centered care to individuals recovering
from complex cardiac procedures. The ideal candidate will
demonstrate proficient clinical expertise, compassionate patient
care, and a commitment to working collaboratively in a high-stakes
environment. Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to
patients within the CICU. Monitor patient condition, administer
medications, and update health records accurately. Work
collaboratively with cardiovascular surgeons, physicians, and other
healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Educate
patients and families on condition management and post-hospital
care. Implement and evaluate patient care plans based on individual
health needs. Ensure adherence to all ICU and hospital protocols
and safety standards. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Expertise in cardiac care nursing Proficiency in using medical
software for patient management Strong interpersonal and
communication skills Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Medical Insurance

Nurse (RN) licensed in the state of Colorado Certification in
Cardiovascular Nursing (CRN) preferred
