Job Description:
UCHealth, a leading nonprofit healthcare system based in
Colorado, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN)
to join our Acute Care Fellowship in Neurology, focusing on
providing exceptional care during night shifts. This specialized
position aims to enhance your skills in neurology care, offering
hands-on experience in managing complex neurological conditions in
an acute setting. Our fellowship program is designed to support
your growth with advanced training and mentorship, preparing you to
excel in the high-stakes environment of neuro care. Provide
comprehensive nursing care to patients with neurological disorders,
including stroke, epilepsy, and other acute conditions. Monitor
patient vitals and neurological status, adjusting care plans based
on patient needs and responses. Collaborate with neurologists,
neurosurgeons, and other healthcare professionals to implement
effective treatment strategies. Educate patients and their families
about condition management and preventive measures. Participate in
research and continuous education activities as part of the
fellowship training. Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and
standards for high-quality neurological care. Strong clinical
skills in acute care nursing Ability to assess and manage
neurological disorders Proficient in using medical software and
patient management systems Effective communication and
interpersonal skills Capability to work efficiently in a dynamic
and challenging environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN)
license in the state of Colorado BLS/CPR certification Preferably
ACLS and PALS certifications
