This role is crucial in supporting our radiology department's operations across our hospitals and outpatient facilities. The Radiology Assistant will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the efficient management and safety of radiological procedures. Prepare and maintain radiology equipment for medical imaging tests and operations. Assist radiologists during procedures by positioning patients and managing imaging equipment according to safety standards. Ensure all radiological supplies are stocked and organized for easy access. Manage patient flow, scheduling, and ensure timely execution of imaging procedures. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all radiological interventions. Follow compliance with health and safety standards to protect patients and staff from radiation exposure. Communicate effectively with patients, providing clear instructions during procedures and ensuring their comfort and safety. Proficiency in using radiological equipment and imaging software Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work meticulously and manage multiple tasks efficiently Knowledge of radiology safety protocols and standards Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification in radiological assistance or willing to acquire upon employment. CPR certification preferred.
