Job Description:
UCHealth is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Manager
for our Medical Surgical department. This role requires a passion
for patient-centered care and an aptitude for leading and inspiring
a team of medical professionals. Our Nurse Manager will oversee the
operations of our Medical Surgical unit, ensuring the delivery of
exceptional healthcare services to our patients. This position

care and innovation. Manage daily operations of the Medical
Surgical unit, including patient care, budgeting, and staffing.
Lead, supervise, and evaluate a team of healthcare professionals to
ensure high standards of patient care. Design and implement
policies and procedures that improve the efficiency and quality of
services. Collaborate with other hospital departments to coordinate
services and enhance patient outcomes. Ensure compliance with
healthcare regulations and standards. Assist in the recruitment,
training, and retention of staff. Handle patient complaints and
resolve issues to maintain the highest level of patient
satisfaction. Monitor and optimize budget utilization and manage
department resources. Proven leadership and management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Deep understanding
of healthcare regulations and hospital procedures Ability to handle
high-stress situations and prioritize tasks Experience in budget
management and resource allocation Proficiency in medical software
and electronic health records Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN)
license in the state of Colorado BLS/ACLS Certification
Certification in Nursing Management or Leadership (e.g., CNML,
NE-BC) preferred
