Job Description:

Intermountain Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled IR Technologist to join our esteemed health system. As a key member of our radiology team, this role focuses on performing a variety of specialized procedures in the Interventional Radiology (IR) department, which are essential for patient diagnosis and treatment. The ideal candidate will have experience with image-guided procedures, a strong commitment to patient care, and a keen ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Perform complex interventional radiology procedures under the guidance of a physician. Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures. Operate and maintain all radiographic or fluoroscopic equipment. Prepare patients and assist physicians during the procedures. Record, analyze, and archive radiographic images. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to provide exemplary patient care. Stay updated with the latest technologies and practices in IR. Strong technical skills with interventional radiology equipment Excellent patient management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex clinical environment Proficient in image processing and analysis Strong communication and interpersonal skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Valid state license as a Radiologic Technologist Additional certification in Vascular-Interventional Radiography is preferred
