UCHealth, a leader in healthcare services across Colorado, is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) specializing in Acute Care Medicine to join our dynamic team across our various hospitals and outpatient facilities, focused on delivering advanced medical care and comprehensive services. The successful candidate will work in close collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient assessment, care planning, and direct treatment for individuals in acute medical conditions, enhancing recovery and ensuring high-quality patient outcomes. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor and document patient status and response to treatments. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Educate patients and their families about disease processes, treatment, and home care routines. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards. Respond effectively to patient emergencies. Participate in the continuous improvement of nursing procedures and standards. Strong clinical skills in a hospital setting Experience with electronic health record systems Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Adaptability to rapidly changing environments Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current LPN licensure in the state of Colorado Basic Life Support (BLS) certified IV Certification preferred
