UCHealth, a leading nonprofit healthcare system based in Colorado, is seeking a dedicated Surgical Technologist to join our Labor and Delivery Birth Center working night shifts. This role is vital in assisting with procedures, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during childbirth, and maintaining a sterile environment. The successful candidate will work alongside a team of expert clinicians focused on providing exceptional care consistent with our reputation for excellence in patient outcomes. Prepare and maintain sterile field before and during surgical procedures. Assist surgeons and nurses by passing instruments and other sterile supplies during childbirth and other related surgical procedures. Conduct inventory of supplies, instruments, and equipment to ensure readiness and availability. Operate and monitor sterilization equipment. Adhere to all hospital safety standards and protocols to ensure patient safety and compliance. Assist in the training and orientation of new staff as needed. Proficiency in maintaining sterile environments Ability to handle surgical instruments safely Effective communication and teamwork skills Competency in operating standard medical equipment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
