UCHealth, a leader in patient-centered healthcare, is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for our MedSurg Surgical Specialties unit to provide top-tier medical care during night shifts. This role requires a compassionate professional who can efficiently adapt to diverse surgical cases, ensuring optimal patient outcomes in a dynamic team setting. Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems. Administer medications and treatments to patients and monitor their responses. Educate patients and their families on illness prevention and lifestyle adjustments post-discharge. Participate in the development and modification of the patient care plan. Strong clinical skills in a hospital setting Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient in using healthcare software and systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Colorado Basic Life Support (BLS) certified by the American Heart Association or equivalent Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
